Instagram co-founders, Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, have created a new company, Artifact, which is a personalized news feed that uses machine learning to understand user interests and will soon allow users to discuss articles with friends.

The app is described as "the TikTok for text" because it features a feed of popular articles chosen from a curated list of publishers and, over time will use AI to serve similar posts and stories to those the user is interested in.
